Arriving at Day on the Hill 

Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the first event begins for SRA Day on the Hill. Each person must pass through security and depending on the lines, this could take quite a while.

Rayburn House Office Building Entrances: The Rayburn House Office Building - Main entrance on Independence Avenue and at the, horseshoe drive off South Capitol Street.
 
If these entrances are too busy, consider entering another of the House Office Buildings. You can access Rayburn through tunnels that connect all House Office Buildings.  Therefore, please consider one of these entrances:
·     The Cannon House Office Building - Entrance on New Jersey Avenue, S.E. south of the terrace at intersection with Independence Avenue.
·     The Longworth House Office Building - Main entrance, Independence and New Jersey Avenues.

What To Wear:

Dress neatly in business-casual attire (no jeans, please)

What To Bring:

·        Your personal story of why abstinence is the healthiest choice,

·         A camera to remember the event,

·        A small tablet to take notes,

·        Business cards, if you have them

·        An umbrella – just in case it rains

·        Money for one meal

Meetings:

NAEA will schedule meetings with your Members of Congress, along with other key decision makers. You'll spend the day sharing the positive stories from your programs and schools.

Just let NAEA know which Congressional District you provide services in and/or where you live. The NAEA staff will do the rest for you.

A personalized itinerary for your day will be provided prior to your arrival.
